Universal Biofuels Pvt. Ltd. has world-class infrastructure and facilities. With over 18,000 metric tonnes of storage capacity, the biodiesel plant is connected via-pipeline to the modern deep water port of Kakinada, which has 4 berths, length LOA of 190 m, a Beam wdth of 32 m, a Draft of 11.5 m, and can handle a liquid cargo vessel size of up to 20,000 tonnes.
Since completion of the biodiesel plant, current build-out plans are as follows:
Plant #1: Kakinada, India
Phase 1: Complete construction of pretreatment and glcyerin refineries by Q2, ’09.
Phase 2: Double namplate biodiesel production capicity to 30,000 metric tonnes (100 million gallons) per year by Q2, 2010.
